Mrs Nicholson
Hello, my name is Mrs Nicholson and I teach the Butterflies at Barnby Dun Primary Academy and am also the phase leader for foundation stage.
I qualified as a teacher in 2012 and have taught at lots of schools across the Yorkshire area, mainly in reception and key-stage one. I joined Barnby Dun in January 2021 and have loved getting to know everyone at this lovely school.
I have a real passion for teaching reception aged children. I love developing children's innate curiosity as they try to discover more about the world around them. As a teacher, I love being outside, baking with my children and getting the paints out!
Outside of school, I have two boys, aged 6 and 8. I enjoy reading, writing, listening to music and travelling with my family.
