Miss Brown
Hi, I am Miss Brown. I have been teaching for 4 years and have experience in EYFS and KS1. I am the Bees Reception class teacher and History lead at Barnby Dun Primary Academy.
My favourite part of working with children is seeing their curiosity grow as they learn all about the world around us. I love taking children outdoors and letting their creativity and imagination lead the way! I always hope that my classroom is a calm environment where children are happy and comfortable to be themselves and enjoy their learning.
I have a pet tortoise called Sprout. We chose this name because he was my Christmas present and that is when we eat the most sprouts! At the weekend and in the holidays, I like spending time with my family by going shopping, visiting the Yorkshire Dales, Peak District and the coast. My Favourite country is Italy because the food is delicious and it is a very relaxing place to be. I love it so much that I am even planning on getting married there next year!
