Mrs Harris
My name is Mrs Harris and this year I am lucky enough to be teaching the fantastic Year 6 Penguins.
I have been teaching at Barnby Dun Primary Academy for almost 27 years (time flies!). I started my teaching career at the school and have enjoyed it so much that I haven't wanted to move anywhere else. During my time at school, I have taught across Key Stage 2 with most of my time being spent in Year 6. My favourite subjects are Art and History.
I have two children of my own who keep me busy. My daughter is in Year 11 at secondary school and she enjoys dancing and doing drama. My son is in Year 13 and he enjoys swimming - he also spends a lot of his time in a swimming pool and he also enjoys running and cycling.
If I have any free time, I enjoy spending it with family and friends and I also like to go shopping and love to go to the theatre when I can.
